Responsible for coordinating the delivery of a high quality and cost effective integrated asset management framework, you will be supported by a small team of professionals. Together you will ensure that asset management policies, strategies and plans are developed, communicated and implemented to ensure accurate and appropriate reporting, system improvement and asset performance are achieved. Ultimately, along with your team and key stakeholders, you will ensure that the City's asset management maturity journey continues in a well-planned and timely manner.
You possess highly developed communication skills, both verbal and written, with proven experience managing a team to achieve strong results. You possess advanced knowledge in infrastructure and asset management systems and databases, and have a strong understanding of the technical aspects of asset management at both a strategic and operational level. A current and valid 'C' Class Drivers Licence is essential for this role.

- High level project management skills to ensure timely completion and documentation of projects
- Highly developed verbal communication, interpersonal and report writing skills
- Demonstrated experience in facilitation, consultation and negotiation to achieve desired outcomes
- Extensive experience in strategic asset management related role
- Highly developed financial management, estimating and budgetary skills
- Sound knowledge of _Local Government Act 1995_ (WA) and state legislation
- Degree in either Asset Management, Civil Engineering, Geographical Information Systems, Surveying or equivalent industry experience
This position offers a gross salary from **$111,935 to $119,348** per annum (depending on knowledge and skill) incorporating all allowances and penalty rates, and:
- 11.5% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
- A variety of health and wellbeing programs including a physical health reimbursement subsidy payment of up to $150 per annum, free flu vaccinations, free skin cancer checks, mental health programs and Employee Assistance Provider (EAP) services
