**About Us**:
Peninsula Hot Springs is an award-winning wellbeing and spa destination located in Fingal, on the Mornington Peninsula. Our bathing and wellness experiences are nestled harmoniously within the natural landscape and feature stunning indigenous plantings from the local Ecological Vegetation Community.

The Land and Environment Team, consisting of passionate horticulturalists and conservationists, have over the last 20 years resurrected the 30-hectre site from cleared paddocks with little remnant vegetation to the spectacular gardens you can see today. Consisting of manicured and landscape gardens, lawns, kitchen gardens, open spaces, and bushland areas these spaces are managed to provide our guests with a unique relaxation experience and opportunity to connect with nature while providing valuable habitat for our native flora, fauna, and fungi.

Based primarily within the bathing area grounds the Gardener will work within the gardening team to undertake amenity horticulture works and will ensure the grounds are presented to a high standard in alignment with the vision of the organisation and in accordance with good horticultural practice.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Driving Excellence in amenity horticulture
- Actively participating in a proactive and preventative maintenance culture
- Participating in the review, refinement, and development of processes
- Supporting the design and development of new experiences and the renewal of existing landscaped areas
- Developing and fostering proactive and professional relationships
- Ensuring compliance of OHS regulations, company policies and procedures

**Essential Skill and Experience**:

- Passion for gardening and indigenous vegetation
- Qualification or experience in horticulture
- Great eye for detail in managing and maintaining assets including established garden beds, lawns, and trees
- Good communication skills and high emotional intelligence
- Capability to perform physical tasks in an outdoor environment across all seasons of the year
- Ability to work unsupervised, demonstrating strong reliability and trustworthiness
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
