WesTrac are looking for a** Laboratory Supervisor **to join our team based in South Guildford.

Reporting to the Fluid Analytics Manager, this individual is responsible for the daily management, leadership, support and mentoring of the all laboratory staff and ensures the day to day sample testing process is conducted according to agreed KPIs. They will also be responsible for the coordination of staff rosters and staff coverage whilst also ensuring continuous improvement of work flow and laboratory procedures.

This individual will be required to demonstrate effective Leadership whilst being responsible for providing coaching and mentoring to their teams and building and driving a culture that is safe, productive and enjoyable.

**To be successful the following is required**:

- Hold a tertiary degree in Chemistry or similar filed
- Demonstrated previous experience within a leadership capacity in a similar environment
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to successfully manage fluctuating workloads and prioritise accordingly
- Advanced stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to absorb technical information quickly
- Strive to assist the Customer to achieve machine availability and reliability KPI's
