Hanson is one of Australia's leading suppliers of heavy building materials to the construction industry. We produce aggregates, including crushed rock, sand, gravel and road base from a number of locations across Australia.

Hanson are looking for enthusiastic **Field Allocator** to ensure effective allocation & delivery of customer testing requirements and sample collections utilising company and external Field Testers.. Reporting to the Technical Operations Supervisor, this role will be based at the Granville Laboratory. This is a Monday to Friday role with paid overtime on Saturdays.

**In your new role with us, you will**:

- Monitor and review SAP to determine testing requirements for Customer paid tests, Quality Control Tests, and any ad hoc testing.
- Understanding testing requirements including, type of test, frequency of test, equipment needed and duration of job.
- Allocate daily testing schedules to Hanson field testers and contractor field testers.
- Allocate samples to be collected and returned to the Granville laboratory on a daily basis.
- Proactively review utilisation of field testers and contractor field testers to obtain greater productivity on a cost effective basis.
- Liaise with the Customer Service Centre in relation to new jobs, cancellations, and re-assigned jobs.
- Manage servicing of Tester fleet.
- Reporting on Allocations (daily testing schedules, QC status reports etc)

**This role is a great fit for you if you have**:

- Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, RMS & NATA requirements
- Qualifications in testing operations would be an advantage but is not essential.
- Ability to deal with a large number of communications and close-out issues as they arise
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Proficient using: Qest Lab, Qest Field, SAP and Allocations Programs (preferred)
- Flexible and able to adapt readily to a changing demands
- At least 2 years experience in the building industry.
- Experience in concrete laboratory testing or field testing experience would be an advantage.
- Current Manual Drivers Licence
