**About the opportunity**

As our **Retail Postage Sorter**, you'll play an important part in keeping millions of Australians connected. As you'd expect, plenty of mail comes through our Post Offices and delivery facilities every day - and our mail sorting teams make sure every delivery gets where it needs to.

**The Role**:

- Casual position - rotating roster
- Shifts from Monday to Friday between 5:00am & 5:00pm
- 12 week training program; working 3 hours per day initially
- Supporting our Booval, Mount Ommaney, Springfield, Inala, Kenmore, Paddington & Brookside Centre locations

**You'll be**:

- Manually sorting all mail arriving at the workplace
- Sorting and distributing mail into relevant PO Boxes
- Assisting and/or performing administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance

**About you**

You're friendly, enthusiastic and reliable and you love the balance of working in a team environment and autonomously. You're motivated by the opportunity to help make a difference to your community. You'll also need to:

- Call upon your memory and hand-eye coordination while sorting
- Be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for your shift
