Property Network of Australia is currently seeking a suitably qualified facilities management professional to take on a newly created role within a shopping centre on the Gold Coast. The role of
**Assistant Operations Manager** will see you utilise your existing shopping centre experience working in a large, well known asset and reporting to and supporting the Senior Operations Manager on site.

We are seeking an individual who has existing retail facilities management or senior management experience within a soft services business and has a keen interest in developing their career within a larger centre. My client is seeking an individual who is eager to learn, adapt to innovative ways of working and generally support the Ops team to achieve high standards and the delivery of excellent contractor and retailer management.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Carry site patrol to monitor cleaning, security and maintenance performance.
- Report and Health & Safety issues, manage and report on any incidents.
- Attend to all customer and retailer complaints in person and investigate immediately.
- Optimise the presentation and operational function of the centre to a high standard by managing day to day maintenance activities.
- Inspection of all vertical transport.
- Liaise with Police Service on security issues.
- Contractor Management with all Sub Contractors working on site.
- Retailer and Customer liaison for any concerns or serious incidents.
- Identify any operational issues and advise appropriate Manager of reportable incidences.
- Assist Retailers with problems relating to air conditioning, safety and minor repairs.
- Ensure that any visible repairs and maintenance items are rectified within a reasonable timeframe
