**Position**:Laboratory Assistants - Histology

**Location**:Bowen Hills, QLD

**Employment Type**:Full-Time / Part-Time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Specimen reception
- Troubleshooting specimens with doctors and clinic staff
- Data input into Histology accessioning system
- Slide and block filing
- General assistance to dissection staff
- Embedding
- Microtomy
- Loading tissue onto tissue processors
- General laboratory duties including assistance to allocation bench and changing stainers

**What we are looking for**:
The successful applicants must possess an enthusiastic and flexible approach to their work, together with the ability to work as part of a team. Prior experience in specimen reception duties or histopathology will be highly regarded.
