We want children to feel the excitement and playfulness that Kelly Club has to offer, and engage in stimulating learning experiences to support resilience, independence and growth.The Role:As an Educator, you will:Deliver activities, on a weekly basis, to school age children, creating an atmosphere of fun and ensuring children are safe, engaged and well-supervised.Ensure the materials for the activities are prepared, interact with the children and join in on their experiences.Provide a remarkable service to support families and children in Before School and After School Care Programs.Report to the Coordinator at the program and work alongside other Educators or 2ICs.Possible shifts :Monday to FridayBefore School hours: 7am – 9amAfter School hours: 2.45pm to 6.00pmRemuneration:In addition to the hourly rate: $19.72 per day when split shift is worked and a laundry allowance of $1.20 per day worked.You can also opt to earn an extra 10% of your hourly rate from day one till December 2026, as Kelly Club is an approved provider of the government incentivised ECEC wage
Responsibilities:Assist children with routine tasks.Communicate effectively with staff, families, and children.Perform some administrative tasks.Other duties as required.Skills and Experience:Cert 3 or Diploma qualified (Outside School Hours Care or any equivalent such as Community Services, Social Work, Early Childhood Education and Care, among others) OR currently studying for one.
(recent proof of study or enrolment will be required, if not a completed certificate)Valid Working with Children Check (to be completed before starting).
Current child protection training and knowledge of child safe standards.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.About You:Passionate about working with children and pursuing growth in the Education sector.Qualified or currently undertaking a relevant qualification.Experience in OSHC, school teaching, school camp programs, sporting programs, or childcare.Personable, enthusiastic, driven, and ambitious.Well-organized with strong administrative and supervisory skills.Ability to deliver a safe, caring, and engaging program for primary-aged boys and girls, motivating them to have fun.Why choose to work at Kelly Club?
