As a Web & SEO Intern, your primary responsibility is to assist the SEO Specialists and Web Project Manager overseeing together SEO and website projects. Alongside your team of SEO specialists, copywriters, designers, frontend and backend developers, to ensure that client's expectations are set and met, while keeping the project within timeline and budget.

**Web Responsibilities**:

- Documenting website development processes and procedures
- Assisting internal stakeholders to determine the website's desired
appearance and functionalities
- Addressing potential issues and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Maintain the teams ad hoc task board and all project boards to ensure clear
communication between the web team, and the account management team
- Monitor the performance of the company's website to ensure it operates
optimally
- Keeping abreast of developments and trends in website design

**SEO Responsibilities**:

- Keyword Research
- Conducting keyword research to identify relevant and high-traffic
keywords.
- Analysing keyword trends and search volumes to inform content strategies
- On-Page SEO & Strategies
- Creating and Implementing on-page SEO strategies, including optimising
title tags, meta descriptions, header tags, and images
- Ensuring website pages follow SEO best practices for structure and
content
- Off-Page SEO
- Supporting off-page SEO tactics such as link-building campaigns
- Assisting in managing and optimising the company's online presence and
reputation through directories, forums, and social media platforms
- Technical SEO
- Assisting with technical SEO tasks to improve website infrastructure, by
suggesting fixes such as site speed optimization, mobile optimization,
and fixing crawl errors
- Helping with technical audits
- Analytics and Reporting
- Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) like
rankings, traffic, and conversions using tools like Google Analytics and
Search Console
- Assisting in analysing reports to identify trends, issues, and
opportunities for SEO improvements
- Collaboration
- Collaborating with other departments, such as content, marketing, and
web development, to ensure SEO strategies are integrated across the
company's digital efforts
- Participating in team meetings and contributing ideas for new SEO
strategies and tactics
- Content Development
- May be involved in content creation, editing, and planning to ensure all
published content meets SEO standards and aligns with overall marketing
goals.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Basic understanding of web development and UI/UX principles
- Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal, to influence
internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent time management and organisational skills & ability to
prioritise effectively
- The ability to refine existing processes to enhance efficiency and
streamline operations

**Web & SEO Intern Requirements**:

- **Analytical Skills**: Ability to analyse data, interpret metrics, and draw actionable insights to optimise digital marketing campaigns and website performance.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate ideas, strategies, and results to team members and clients.
- **Creativity and Attention to Detail**: Strong creative thinking skills paired with meticulous attention to detail in content creation, keyword optimisation, and website maintenance.
- **Educational Background**: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Computer Science, or related field. Relevant coursework or certifications in digital marketing, web development, or SEO are a plus.
- **Familiarity with SEO Practices**: Basic understanding of search engine optimisation (SEO) concepts such as keyword research, on-page optimisation, link building, and SEO analytics tools.
