Job Opportunity: Lead Surgeon
With a focus on delivering exceptional patient care, this role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced surgeon to lead and manage patients in the General Surgery Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage complex medical cases under supervision of senior consultants
Advocate for patient well-being and education
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior surgeons and medical officers
Pursue research opportunities with the aim of publishing scholarly work
Requirements:
Hold a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent registrable qualification
Be registered with AHPRA
Be willing to participate in a 7-day, 24-hour roster
Provide evidence of vaccination against common diseases
Undergo tuberculosis screening as necessary
Disclose any serious disciplinary history
Pass thorough background checks
