**The Opportunity**:
Partnered with our host **Liebherr**, we are looking for a Mobile Plant Technology Apprentice who is looking to get their hands on the tools, while completing an **AUR31220 Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology**.

This position is full-time, and based in **Yatala**.

**Job Details**:
Liebherr is a global leader in the manufacture and distribution of mobile cranes. They have many models ranging from 2-ale 35 tonne cranes to heavy duty models with a lifting capacity of 1200 tonnes and a 9-axle chassis.

Very few Mobile Plant Apprenticeships will offer you such variety to work on.

You will be mentored by industry professionals while completing a blend of on-the-job training and theory coursework. Liebherr prides themselves on having a **high-quality internal training program** that will include you visiting their head office in Germany in your third year

Your duties will include but not limited to:

- Diagnosing and repairing mobile crane hydraulic control systems, heavy vehicle air braking systems, suspension systems, powershift transmissions, hydraulic systems and variable transmissions
- Using and maintaining tools and equipment in an automotive workplace
- Retrofitting and modifying air conditioning and HVAC systems
- Inspecting and servicing manual transmissions
- Inspecting, testing and replacing mobile crane automatic transmissions
- Removing and installing mobile crane engine assemblies

**About You**:
You must have excellent communication skills and be ready and willing to undertake physical work in an indoor and outdoor setting.

You will be willing to travel for potential field work and **not afraid of working heights**. Also you will be keen to pick up additional work on Saturdays when available.

In addition to these qualities, you will:

- Have completed a minimum of year 10 with good results in English and Mathematics
- Possess high level mechanical aptitude
- Ideally have one year's experience in a related field or industry
- Problem solving skills
- Have a driver's licence
- Be safety-minded
- Be well presented
- Have excellent listening skills and able to follow instructions
