You'll be the first to greet our customers with a warm smile, and the first to jump in when there's something that needs doing. From answering questions to keeping things running smoothly, you'll be proactive, positive, and always ready to surprise and delight our customers
**Requirements**:
- Confidently showcase the Koala brand - you'll have a deep understanding of our story and be able to share it in a way that's engaging and authentic.
- Work independently to manage all day-to-day operations of the pop-up - from opening and closing, to stock management, to following up with customers post-visit.
- Drive sales across our full product range (even those not on display) through meaningful, personalised customer interactions.
- Collaborate with other Koalas across departments to ensure the best possible experience for our customers - and great outcomes for the business.
- Deliver exceptional, knock-your-socks-off customer experiences in a face-to-face retail environment.
- Keep the space looking top-notch - maintaining a high level of attention to detail and visual presentation at all times.
- Roll with the punches - adapt to new directions and proactively solve issues that might impact operations or customer experience.
- Ensure the space is safe for everyone by following safety procedures and reporting any issues quickly.
- Be hands-on & comfortable with manual handling, furniture assembly, and showing customers the features of our products.
**Ideal background**
- 3+ years' experience in a customer facing role like retail, hospitality or similar
- Flexible and comfy working retail hours, including weekends, weekdays, and Thursday evenings
- A natural people person who thrives on supporting others and bringing good vibes
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage and energise a room
- Empathy is essential - our customers are at the heart of everything we do, and we're all about meeting them with care, warmth, and a little surprise and delight at every touchpoint
- Near-perfect grammar, plus strong written and verbal English communication
- Experience working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Confident handling retail operations and creating great in-store experiences
