**Overview
This role will work with the Technology Director to define and execute the Digital Technology Strategy within RSS, formulating the roadmap for the delivery of market leading digital solutions to the superannuation industry and to the RSS business internally. The key stakeholders that will be interacted with include the Customer Experience and Solutions Teams, Operational Teams and RSS Clients.
**Key accountabilities and main responsibilities**
Strategic Focus
- Define and execute the Digital Technology Strategy within RSS working closely with key stakeholders and external clients.
- Define and execute a 3-5-year digital road map to agreed budget and timescales including realisation and measurement of benefits
- Provide thought leadership on Digital technologies and innovations within the Superannuation industry.
- Identify, screen, and evaluate new solution opportunities to generate maximum value for the clients and Link.
Operational Management
- Develop and cultivate close working relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients including the Digital team, the Product team and other internal digital stakeholders.
- Regularly seek feedback from our stakeholders and external clients on our Digital product, roadmap and service and provide insights and actions to continuously innovate and improve.
- Continue to learn and develop skills in product development innovation to implement new ideas and practices. Consider a human centred design approach.
- Ability to work with cross functional teams driving projects from ideation to launch.
- Represent RSS externally at conferences and forums to develop a strong reputation in the market as a leader in Digital technologies.
- Provide Digital Technology SME consulting to the business and external clients.
- Communicate technical concepts to our clients in a simple manner.
Reporting
- Provide accurate and timely reporting:
- Cadence of digital development
- Digital roadmap development and execution
- Delivery of client implementations on time
- Digital sustainability
- Data security and privacy
- Interpreting future trends into action
- Provide valuable insight and analysis on our Digital product performance so standards can be improved and streamlined.
People Leadership
- Focus on leadership and professional development of the direct team.
- Strong leadership skills with an emphasis on building good teams, continuous improvement, project delivery.
- Embed Link Group purpose and values in people management and operating practices.
- Act on Link Listen staff feedback.
- Drive activities to support the Link Group diversity and inclusion objectives.
Governance & Risk
- Ensure key performance indicators are measured, analysed, and accurately reported to stakeholders for incidents of all priorities.
- Take a lead on the management of risk, dependencies and issues associated with tech delivery.
- Manage audit requirements and any associated actions.
**Experience & Personal Attributes**
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Lead/Senior Product Manager or Head of Product within a business working on digital and/or web product development.
- Have a view on the future of digital trends with Insurance and Superannuation.
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with people at all levels of the organisation and build strong relationships and trust with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ideally experience in the Superannuation Industry or at a minimum the financial services industry.
- Highly effective communication, collaboration and influencing skills.
- Strong business acumen and experience in managing financials and budgets.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on coaching and developing teams.
- Able to communicate a compelling vision and purpose to broader team.
