G4S is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Manager to support the Commercial Director in the development and implementation of commercial frameworks and strategies that optimize customer experience and satisfaction while maximizing profit, performance, and growth.
This is a fixed-term role for 12 months, with potential to continue to support the Director in commercial strategy/review/negotiation for major rebids, major projects, proposed rebasing/renegotiation of existing underperforming contracts and new business opportunities. The role is predominantly internal-facing working closely with GM's and Contract Managers across multiple G4S contracts.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Support the Commercial Director and General Managers to extract value from existing contracts and maximize revenue and margin in new contracts
- Lead and support Contract Leads to ensure all contract obligations are delivered, and performance is achieved
- Negotiate disputes, claims, and variations under head contracts and key subcontracts
- Identify compliance and commercial risks and opportunities, effective mitigations and strategies to realize value/improvements
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Tertiary qualifications in commerce, finance, or business
- 5+ years' experience in a commercial role, particularly in the management of service delivery and long-term contracts in a government environment
- Demonstrated strategic, commercial and/or financial acumen
- Demonstrated ability to resolve contractual disputes and build relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at a range of levels to achieve commercial objectives
- Ability to self-direct, balance priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical capability and attention to detail with a team mindset
