**Your role**:
Working with the Group Risk Manager, you will handle day-to-day insurance queries, manage policy renewals, coordinate with insurance broker, and oversee insurance claims. It also involves due diligence for acquisitions, particularly for smaller Australia and New Zealand-based acquisitions.
The role is part time, 3 days per week however we are flexible with how you may like to structure those 3 days.
This is a great role for someone working within an insurer or broker that is looking to move into a role within a large business.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Maintain exceptional relationships with all external general insurance providers (insurance brokers, insurers, risk engineers, related consultants
- Manage all insurance renewal activities according to the required timeline/s
- Manage the Insurance Risk Engineering program - coordinate onsite surveys, liaise with site operations to monitor and record completion of survey recommendations.
- Create purchase orders and process payments for the General insurance program, under-deductible insurance claim expenses, fraud consultants and ad-hoc invoices as requested including Worker's Compensation premiums
- Liaise with both internal and external legal counsels

**Skills & Experience**
- High level of understanding of general insurance terminology, principles and market environment, particularly for multi-national insurance programs
- Knowledge of the complexities of various group insurance policies, including overseas insurance programs
- Ability to analyse/interpret insurance policy wordings and various other types of contracts (supplier contracts, leases, etc)
- Ability to educate/coach DuluxGroup managers/employees on insurance principles and market environment
- Strong time management skills, with an ability to deliver on critical reporting deadlines
