Groundfloor Position Description: Warehouse Technician
**About Us**:
Groundfloor is Australia's first smart delivery locker solution designed for residential apartments and commercial office buildings. Designed with a luxury aesthetic, the system employs our cloud-based software suite to receive and store parcels from all courier companies until retrieved by the recipient. Groundfloor systems provide an efficient and secure point of delivery, reducing urban congestion and improving the sustainability of ecommerce deliveries.

With online deliveries growing at 9-12% per year, our innovative solution has become a necessity for the digital age, providing convenience, cost savings and sustainability to urban communities. We are looking for passionate, tech savvy team members in our warehouse operations.

**Role Description**:

- Set up, configure and test new parcel locker systems
- Manage locker inventory and company assets
- Process & prepare inbound and outbound shipments and deliveries
- Undertake quality control of inbound shipments
- Recommend and implement process improvements to drive safer, easier and more cost-effective operations
- Maintain a well-organised and tidy warehouse
- Support other areas of our scaling startup business as required

**What we are looking for**:

- A good working knowledge of software systems; Windows, Android, Excel, Word etc.
- Attention to detail
- One or more relevant skills or hobbies, such as carpentry, metal working, technology, design etc.
- Problem solver with a collaborative, can-do attitude
- Proof of eligibility to work in Australia
- This position is suited to someone who may be studying engineering, electrical, technology or similar.

Hourly rate $25 to $30/hour, commensurate with skills and experience.

Part-time hours: 15 - 20 per week

**Salary**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Thomastown, VIC 3074: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
