**About the role**

The Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for the oversight, design, development, facilitation and evaluation of learning and development programs within Churches of Christ.

Leading a small dedicated team of Learning, you will be able to create and drive a vision for how we support and develop our staff.

In this role you will:

- Create a framework and vision for learning and development across the breadth of the organisation
- Determine training objectives and develop training strategies by liaising with stakeholders; conduct training needs analysis to create and implement training plans and programs.
- Analyse and report on the effectiveness of learning and development programs to meet the business needs of the organisation and licensing requirements.
- Oversee the Learning Management System to conduct training events, including enrolment, attendance, completion and assessment.

**Remuneration for this role is $100,500 per annum + super.**

**About you**

You are an experienced Learning and Development leader. You understand the importance that education has on the success of our business and can assist the organisation on their learning journey. You can identify gaps and needs in the business and develop implementation plans with our managers in order to ensure that the gaps are addressed. You are often recognised for your highly developed problem-solving, conflict resolution, decision-making and negotiation skills.

Ideally your experience and qualifications include:

- Degree qualification in Organisational Psychology, Learning and Development, Human Resources or relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- Cert IV in Training & Assessment
- Minimum three years' experience in a leadership.
- Robust understanding of Adult Learning Principles
- Ability to facilitate adult learning workshops and deliver group training.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a committed team, build cooperative and collaborative relationships and effectively implement significant change at an organisational or community level, and to develop a work team through the change process.
- Experience in learning approaches that cater for a diverse and dispersed workforce.
