**About us**:
Coomera Springs Veterinary Surgery is a well-established veterinary clinic on the northern end of the Gold Coast. We offer a full suite of services and are one of only a few clinics in Southeast QLD to boast a truly diverse client base including but not limited to cats, dogs, guinea pigs, goats, alpacas, birds and reptiles. Our goal is to provide a high standard of individualized and compassionate care to all our patients in an environment that is fast paced and focused on continuing education. We pride ourselves on providing an enjoyable, supportive, and balanced workplace. We don't work on public holidays or Sundays and even get a few weeks off over Christmas

**The Opportunity**:
We are currently seeking an experienced **Veterinary Receptionist** to join our wonderful team on a **part-time basis** (on average around 27 hours per week) Our receptionist is the first point of contact for all our valued clients so providing a high-quality client experience in person and over the phone is of the utmost importance to us. This is a fantastic opportunity for a star receptionist that is keen to work in a fast-paced yet rewarding atmosphere with a remarkable team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver outstanding client care and customer service to all clients and their pets.
- Responding to customer enquiries.
- Be involved in triaging for our emergency clients.
- Scheduling appointments and procedures for multiple veterinarians.
- Updating clients on their pet's progress.
- Ensuring our company values are upheld.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a busy receptionist role - Veterinary/medical/pharmaceutical industry experience will be highly regarded.
- An ability to handle a high volume, fast paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills to build relationships with our clients.
- Exceptional time management skills and an ability to prioritise your work.
- An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A friendly, easy-going nature and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Available to work Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays and join a rotating Saturday roster (where we are only open from 8am-12:30pm).
