Breeze Group are looking to work with one our valued clients in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs. The position available is for an ongoing Monday to Friday Production Assembler. In this position you will be responsible for assembling high-quality and error free modular conveyor belts to the specifications of the work order, ensuring that all belt work-orders are built correctly, on-time, and to the required level of quality and efficiency.
**Responsibilities include but not limited to**:
- Retrieve and interpret work orders.
- Retrieve boxes of modules needed from the staging area by pulling/pushing on carts.
- Lift and carry boxes (20kgs) needed for fabrication of conveyor belt to different locations of work area.
- Assemble and inspect samples of specified belts.
- Manipulate modules and rods together as one unit
- Construct conveyor belts of various sizes and makes
- Perform quality control of the produced product by verifying the sampled created by the work order.
- Make sure that all jobs are transacted correctly in the system
- Perform final check on all work completed, ensuring that all cuts are of the correct quantity and quality.
- Efficiently and accurately perform role in order to meet established KPI.
- Set-up and operate Rod Cutting Machines (RCMs) and Universal Cutting Machines (UCMs) correctly, safely and by following the operations manual.
**Qualifications**:
- Familiarity with desk-top operating systems. Oracle would be a plus
- Detail oriented, team player, communicator and problem-solver
- Ability to understand and make recommendations to improve current processes and procedures.
- Capable to work in a dynamic environment and under pressure to meet deadlines and reach day-to-day performance goals.
- Good English verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess a high level of urgency in order to support clients high service levels and operational efficiency goals.
- Self-managed mentality with a sense of ownership
- Small parts assembly experience an advantage
- Forklift license is a plus but not necessary
**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual
**Salary**: From $28.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
