We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our Australian team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical assembly, fabrication, cutting, and CNC machining.

Responsibilities include assembling machines and machine sub-assemblies, collecting parts for assembly, quality testing, and manufacturing pallets/boxes using a CNC saw and nail gun.

The successful applicant will have excellent attention to detail, be skilled and focused on quality and safety, and be able to complete tasks efficiently.

Additionally, they will be responsible for maintaining a clean working area and ensuring equipment and tools are properly maintained and inspected.

About the role:

  • Assemble machines and machine sub-assemblies
  • Collect parts for assembly as per bill-of-materials or 3D model
  • Quality test correct machine operation for orders completion
  • Manufacture pallets/boxes using a CNC saw and nail gun
  • Pack up completed orders and book online dispatches
  • Complete local pickups and deliveries

  • Enjoy making things or working with your hands
  • Have experience in mechanical jobs like assembly, fabrication, cutting, and CNC machining
  • Proven performance of accurate and error-free assembly including attention to detail
  • Able to produce assembly work that passes quality checks
  • Friendly, bright, and enthusiastic
