Adviser: Future Student Enquiries

Based in Communications and Marketing at 101 Currie Street, Adelaide
- Full-time, fixed-term contract until 27 June 2025
- Commencement Salary: $70,476 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

**About the Role**

Reporting to the Team Leader: Future Student Enquiries, you will be responsible for providing high quality customer service and accurate information to prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students in response to enquiries on a range of platforms. You will participate in the ongoing development of quality improvement initiatives and will work collaboratively with staff across the Communications and Marketing Unit to facilitate information sharing and cross-skilling.

**About the Communications and Marketing Unit**

The **Communications and Marketing Unit's (CMK)** role is to raise the profile of UniSA and enhance understanding and recognition of its strengths and diversities; internally, externally and internationally among key target groups including staff, students, graduates, prospective students, government, media, business, professions, other educational bodies and the wider community. The Unit plays a critical role in contributing to the growth of the institution's brand and profile, as well as delivery of the University strategic action plan.

**The Domestic Student Recruitment (DSR)** team has overall responsibility for the management of the University's domestic prospective student customer service and outreach programs. The team visits a majority of South Australian secondary schools each year, promotes pathway options for adult applicants, conducts the annual Open Day and provides an enquiry service for domestic prospective students. The DSR team manages University wide activity at the 'one-to-one' end of the student decision making process.

**Essential Skills and Experience**
- Experience in a sales and customer service-related environment with a focus on achieving targets and client service management
- Excellent relationship building skills to enable effective engagement with a diverse range of people and cultures Demonstrated provision of high quality, responsive customer service with excellent communication and written skills and a professional phone manner
- Proven ability to problem-solve and sound organisational skills, including prioritising conflicting demands to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated experience in working collaboratively in a team-based work environment including contributing towards a strong client focused culture
