Job Summary
Cubic Transportation Systems (CTS) is seeking a Security Delivery Manager that must reside in Eastern Australia or New Zealand.
The APAC Security Delivery Manager plays a pivotal role in safeguarding our commercial transportation programs across the region.
Reporting directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), this individual is responsible for the strategic oversight of security and compliance initiatives.
This role demands close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, offering an opportunity to shape our cybersecurity landscape significantly.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain plans to support efficient and effective delivery of security services in the customer accounts for the region; track these as project and task assignments.
Collect and report status information and escalate problem areas to provide timely remediation of issues.
Coordinate with Corporate Security Service delivery teams and CTS Operations and Engineering to ensure needs are understood and work stays on schedule.
Coordinate capture of assignments in proper ticketing systems.
Manage and report on problem resolution and actively communicate about progress to drive issues to conclusion.
Work with the Security GSAMs to understand protocols for how work should be performed; ensure plans actively support standardized work protocols; assist in developing new protocols as needed.
Perform as the principal security regional liaison with internal and external customers to collect feedback and concerns and provide status about planned and ongoing work.
Work with the CTS regional service delivery managers and the Cubic CISO to coordinate on Opx budgeting to support operations for the regional support.
Keep the CISO, CTS regional directors, and Cubic management informed on work status and issues.
Essential Job Duties
Project Management: demonstrated history supporting project and program management services for large, complex IT systems that are mission critical and handle high volumes of sensitive information.
Security Operations: deeply conversant in security operations and/or system development.
Technical Change Direction: able to capture and describe technical changes necessary to support security compliance to engineering staff and to senior managers and customers; experience driving and managing change, and responding to sometimes critical problems.
Compliance and Standards: conversant in international standards including ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, SOC 1/2, and NZ ISM; able to describe compliance activities and issues to engineering staff and to senior managers and customers to support efforts to ensure programs align with contractual and regulatory obligations.
Risk and Security Governance: experienced dealing with Security Risk Management SMEs to capture risks and work with technical staff to remediate these risks.
Stakeholder Management: act as the senior security representative to the regional management team, customers, and partners, including attending technical and customer forums.
Reporting Development: work with resource and system owners to collect detailed reports that present infrastructure and system security information to the CISO and customers; define needs for these reports and interpret the information to support ISMS policies, standards, and procedures.

Minimum Job Requirements
Essential: The candidate must be in commuting distance from CTS offices in Brisbane QLD, Sydney NSW or Wellington NZ, and able to routinely travel throughout the region.
Essential: University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical field, or Business Administration with relevant IT work experience.
Desirable
A professional certificate, diploma or equivalent in project management.
Experience in the payment card or public transportation industry.
Skills/Experience/Knowledge
Essential: Minimum five years' experience in Program Management of services or IT systems in a mission critical setting.
Essential: Experience in security consulting to internal and external customers.
Essential: A thorough knowledge of information security technologies and methodologies.
Essential: Expert level experience collaborating with stakeholders and solution providers in a cross functional and matrix'd IT organization.
Desirable
Knowledge of PCI-DSS 4, ISO-27001, NZ-ISM, and cloud security practices.
Deep understanding of security risks and threats as they relate to the company's operating environments.
Personal Qualities
Able to work effectively and uphold professional standards, with the Customer and system stakeholders.
Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
Methodical and Attentive to detail.
Proactive in seeking advice from security subject matter experts when required.
Comfortable working with staff at all levels and in other geographical locations within the organization.
Strong written and oral communication skills in English, with capability to use Microsoft Office solutions.
Ability to collaborate with team members in a cross functional and matrix'd IT organization.
Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership with strong abilities in relationship management.
