**Who are we looking for?**

Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking a Responsive Behaviour Program Coordinator to join School of Nursing, Faculty of Health, Academic Division.

This position is responsible for coordinating the National Dementia Training Australia (DTA) Responsive Behaviours program including the Responsive Behaviours Consultancy and Community of Practice programs as well as facilitating the delivery and development of training programs.

**About Dementia Training Australia**
Dementia Training Australia (DTA) is responsible for the translation of contemporary knowledge regarding dementia care through the development and delivery of training and resources to the aged care workforce.

DTA is a collaboration between four Australian universities and Dementia Australia and is led by the University of Wollongong. Auspiced by the QUT School of Nursing, DTA forms a key linkage between research and industry.

**What you need to succeed**

You will thrive in this role if you are passionate about developing trusted working relationships and delivering high-level administrative support to a collegiate and high-performing team.

You will demonstrate:

- Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to a degree in relevant discipline e.g. nursing, allied health, psychology with significant clinical experience working with people living with dementia in a community, residential aged care or acute care setting.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering aged care or dementia focused teaching/training and developing teaching materials for online education and other forms of flexible delivery, and knowledge of adult education principles and practices.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to write detailed program reports.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with individuals and key members of organisations.
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills, including capacity to manage competing priorities in a busy workplace.

Desirable
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or equivalent with experience and competencies to develop and deliver multi-modal training for health professionals.
