Sydney Water have partnered with Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) to deliver; design, construct, maintenance and facilities management services as part of the P4S program in Sydney Water's Southern Region of Sydney.
D4C is a consortium comprising of John Holland, Service Stream and WSP. We will provide long term employment opportunities to diversify the skills of the people of the southern region of Sydney as well as creating pathways to enter the water industry.
D4C is seeking a Project Coordinator to join their expanding team to deliver excellence across the southern region
What this role will entail?
This role is responsible for the successful delivery of Major Periodic Maintenance (MPM) and minor projects usually of low/medium complexity/risk in accordance with design requirements, time and cost constraints, and commercial, HR, safety, quality, and environment and community targets.
As a Project Coordinator, you'll be delivering projects and your day-to-day tasks will include but are not limited to:
Deliver minor projects in both operations' maintenance and facilities management areas of the business
Prepare scope of works, job plans, and job costings as required for each assigned project.
Work collaboratively with the operations maintenance team and the facilities management team in delivering projects to ensure the most efficient and effective use of plant, equipment, blue collar and white-collar resources.
Review project progress against plans, contractual arrangements and delivery milestones to ensure they are on schedule and within quality and cost estimates and take effective remedial action as required.
Assist with resource scheduling so that team members have the resources they need to complete their tasks.
Manage project management documents such as the project plan, budget, schedule or scope, as directed by the project manager
Perform all duties in accordance with Sydney Water and D4C policies, processes, systems, reporting and procedures
Conduct regular meetings with the Sydney Water Project Managers to foster a spirit of mutual trust and cooperation, and address early warnings, changes to the program and compensation events, and broader safety, environment, quality and constructability compliance matters.
**Essential Requirements**:
Certificate IV or Diploma in Project Management or Equivalent
Current Drivers Licence Desirable
2 years' of project management/coordination experience
Able to demonstrate excellent time management skills and multitasking
Client relationship and stakeholder management
Analysis of and reporting on project performance, compliance and defects and/or non-conformance
