Environmental Management Specialist

The successful candidate will operate within our environmental management and consulting group, primarily servicing government clients. This role supports the delivery of building projects and programs.

  • Manage operations to ensure efficient resource utilisation, timely reporting, and provision of expert advice for best environmental outcomes.
  • Prepare high-level correspondence, including briefing notes, submissions, reports, and information papers.
  • Deliver environmental planning and management advice and reports to support new building projects, adhering to legislative, policy, and internal requirements.
  • Conduct environmental studies, reviews, and assessments to quantify, mitigate, and address environmental risks and/or impacts associated with infrastructure and development.
  • Prepare and manage the delivery of environmental approvals, licenses, and permits to satisfy statutory requirements.
  • Develop, improve, and maintain environmental management policies, procedures, and systems to provide governance and assurance oversight.
  • Maintain an environmental compliance governance framework to ensure operations are compliant, including managing environmental risk and compliance, auditing activities, and incident investigations.
  • Coordinate environmental training programs and raise awareness about environmental management and compliance within our organisation.
  • Promote effective relationships with agencies, organisations, and stakeholders concerned with environmental issues.
