Join the department as a Business Manager and be part of a team that is making a difference and creating a lasting legacy. Our department is playing a significant role in Queensland's future. As a Business Manager in the Office of the Assistant Under Treasurer you'll lead a busy team supporting the divisional needs, providing high level advice and strategic support on major business and governance issues relating to the Department and whole of Government issues. **Here's what we're looking for**: - Demonstrated experience supporting a busy executive office, with the ability to anticipate needs, problem solve and provide proactive support to your team, senior leadership and the broader team. Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities to inspire and coordinate a diverse team towards achieving departmental and divisional goals, and the agility to adapt to diverse and evolving demands. Proficiency in the use of government-specific tools and software for finance, administration, project management, and collaboration, ensuring the efficient operation of divisional activities. A good understanding of government policies, procedures, and ethical standards to ensure compliance in all aspects of business operations. Discretion and sensitivity in handling confidential and sensitive information, maintaining the privacy and security of executive communications.
