Job Description
Assist with the implementation of environmental management plans to meet regulatory and company standards
Monitor environmental performance metrics, delivering clear and actionable reports
Conduct site inspections and audits to identify risks and drive mitigation strategies
Prepare and submit compliance documentation to relevant authorities
Advise on environmental policies, procedures, and legislative changes
Support initiatives that enhance environmental impact and community engagement
Liaise with stakeholders to address concerns and explore opportunities for improvement
The Successful Applicant
A successful Environmental Officer should have:
A relevant qualification in environmental science, environmental management, or a related field.
Experience in environmental compliance within the energy and natural resources industry.
Strong understanding of environmental regulations and best practices.
Proficiency in preparing reports and managing environmental data.
Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
The ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
