As Entura continues to grow to support our exciting pipeline of projects, we are seeking experienced Hydrologists and Hydraulic Modellers to join our Water and Renewables team.
In joining us, you will be welcomed into an established team who are focussed on delivering a strong pipeline of work on major projects including pumped storage hydropower projects, traditional hydropower projects, dam safety reviews for large dams, wind farms and solar farms.
We have a unique asset-owner heritage with over 100 years of experience in contributing to the development, operation and maintenance of renewable energy and water infrastructure. As a result, you will work alongside some of Australia's leading minds in the renewables space.
These roles are ideally based in our Tasmanian office however flexible work arrangements are considered. Given the diversity of our clients and projects, there may be some local, national and international travel required.

**About the Opportunity**
Depending on your experience level, your key responsibilities may include:
- Leading a range of hydrology or hydraulic modelling projects
- Reviewing modelling inputs into major infrastructure projects
- Supporting the implementation of the modelling standard within Entura and providing technical leadership to more junior staff
- Leading engagement with clients and stakeholders to support technical delivery and win work
- Demonstrated ability to win work, develop client relationships and support business development activities
- Presenting information to clients and management in a concise and effective manner
- Authoring and reviewing assessments / reports
- Mentoring and developing more junior staff
- Report and model checking and reviewing.
**About You**
Some of the skills and experience you may bring include:
- Consulting experience in surface water modelling at a level appropriate for the position
- Ability to communicate results and analysis with internal and external clients
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships internal and external to the business
- A collaborative approach to modelling practice with the ability to share technical skills, resources, and work packages
- Demonstrated ability to maintain proficiency in the use of standard tools, techniques and equipment that are required for the undertaking, completion, and delivery of your work
- Ability to build relation with clients, lead business development and secure new opportunities with existing and new clients.
