We are seeking experienced Water Modellers to join our thriving water team. Our water modelling team supports a wide range of strategic planning projects across Australia and the Pacific, including water and wastewater network modelling and water resource modelling.
The team is part of the broader strategic planning and advisory group and contributes to strategy studies, options investigations and concept designs for potable water, wastewater, recycled water and surface water supply projects.
We work with urban and regional clients, focusing on regional councils, water utilities and state-based agencies, to help make everyday better for communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities- Building and calibrating hydrological and hydraulic models for water and wastewater networks and water resource systems.
- Analysing and assessing hydrologic, hydraulic, GIS and survey data.
- Utilising GIS software such as ArcGIS or QGIS.
- Undertaking modelling investigations, options assessments, master planning, growth and development studies, and operational / control systems design and validation.
- Communicating model development and outcomes with internal and external stakeholders, including preparation of modelling reports.
- Working with other team members to deliver system investigations, planning studies, feasibility and strategy studies, and concept designs.
You are a highly motivated Water Modeller looking to grow within the Water market, with a strong track record in successfully delivering modelling projects in a consulting environment. You hold a Bachelor of Civil or Environmental Engineering or another relevant qualification, and have five years or more of relevant work experience. You'll have a solid grounding in the theory of water and wastewater network hydraulics, and/or water resource systems, and ideally experience using modelling software such as InfoWorks, MIKE, Source or Wathnet.
