Ø Develop and implement systems and processes to enhance compliance effectiveness and streamline regulatory procedures.Corporate GovernanceØ Promote and monitor adherence to corporate governance standards, including the conduct of board meetings, maintenance of statutory registers, and disclosure of information to stakeholders.
Ø Provide guidance and support to companies on corporate governance practices and compliance obligations.Enforcement ActionsØ Initiate and oversee investigations into instances of non-compliance, fraud, or malpractice by companies, and take appropriate enforcement actions in accordance with regulatory powers.
Ø Collaborate with relevant authorities and stakeholders to ensure swift and effective enforcement of regulatory requirements.Stakeholder EngagementØ Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, industry associations, legal professionals, and corporate entities.
Ø Represent the ROC in meetings, conferences, and forums to discuss regulatory issues, share best practices, and address stakeholder concerns.Capacity BuildingØ Develop and implement training programs and workshops to enhance the understanding of regulatory requirements and promote a culture of compliance among ROC staff and stakeholders.
Ø Foster continuous learning and professional development opportunities to build expertise in regulatory compliance and corporate governance.Required SkillsØ Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including experience in managing teams, driving organizational change, and collaborating effectively with stakeholders.
Ø Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Companies Act, 2013, and other relevant statutes governing corporate affairs in India.
