**Support Worker - High Intensity Support**

In response to increased demand from our clients and the needs of our community, Focal is looking for exceptional Support Workers who have extensive experience with PBSPs, Mental Health and Complex Needs to work closely with our clients and their families.

**About you**

To be eligible for this role you must have a MINIMUM qualification of Certificate IV in Individual Support or Mental Health and/or AT LEAST 3 years experience dealing with clients who have PBSPs or complex high needs. We have a large number of clients to assist and will require good availability. Open to overnight shifts as well a plus.

Enrolled nurses / university students studying Paramedicine, Psychology, Mental Health, Nursing, Occupational Therapy or Social Work are welcome. Advanced qualifications in a relevant field is highly regarded.

For this specific role, it is ESSENTIAL that you have:

- Minimum 3 years experience working with or have knowledge of Dissociative Identity Disorder, Psychosis, Autism Spectrum Disorder/Asperger's, Severe Trauma, ADHD, FASD
- Certificate IV in Mental Health / Individual Support OR relevant experience
- Experience with PEG Feeding & Manual Handling
- Good physical and mental fitness
- Valid Driver's Licence along with a comprehensively insured vehicle essential
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Blue / Yellow or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance Card
- Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
- MAYBO training a plus
