**Salary range**: $132,470 per annum + 13% superannuation
- Lead strategic planning and performance initiatives across the City of Hobart.
- Lead service reviews to ensure the City's services are valued and delivered effectively and efficiently.

**About the role**:
This role contributes to the success of the City by** leading the Council's strategy, planning and performance function** and also **working closely with the Chief Finance Officer (CFO)**to oversee performance management frameworks, strategic alignment and integration with the Capital City Strategic Plan and fostering cross-functional collaboration to achieve organisational outcomes.
Role Accountabilities Include:
- Develop and monitor the strategy, planning and performance across the organisation.
- Lead the annual planning cycle aligned with the budget.
- Use evidenced based research and data to support decision making.
- Ensure the City delivers valued, efficient and effective services.
- Seek external funding opportunities for priorities.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and accountability.

- Demonstrated practical experience in strategic analysis, research, policy development and/or project management.
- Experince in leading, coaching and managing high performing teams.
