**Village Manager**

We have a fantastic opportunity for a committed, enthusiastic, and customer service driven Village Manager, to lead a passionate and caring team in supporting our independent residential community.

Our client is highly regarded in Melbourne for creating active, yet peaceful, safe, secure, and friendly independent retirement communities, offering residents a friendly and supportive village community environment.

The village comprises of 214 villa units and apartments on 20 acres of landscaped gardens with a community centre, bowling green and resident amenities, with a dedicated management team and privately owned supportive owners.

As the Village Manager, you will manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Village, based in the inner eastern suburb of Melbourne.

**Key responsibilities**:
Managing resident relations and engaging with our resident community
- Sales and marketing
- Financial management
- Lead a small and dedicated staff team (including office, maintenance, and gardening)
- Maintenance, building and capital works oversight
- Working collaboratively with the owners on continual improvement
- Compliance and industry accreditation management

**About you**:

- Extensive management and proven leadership experience
- Excellent people management and communication (oral /written) skills
- Demonstrated financial management and budgeting skills
- Highly motivated, proactive, hands on and positive attitude
- A commitment to maintaining, developing, and protecting long standing reputation
- A commitment to fostering a fun, friendly and supportive team environment
- A prior working experience in the retirement village or hospitality sectors (preferred but not mandatory)

We are looking for an outstanding people leader whose focus and passion is to deliver the highest-level of customer service engagement with our residents within our village community.
