Cloud Security Architect Position
We are seeking an accomplished cloud security architect to fill this full-time contract role in Sydney. This position demands a highly experienced professional with expertise in cloud security.
The ideal candidate will possess:
A minimum of 13 years of experience in cloud security advisory roles, including 5 years in Azure Cloud, O365, and Microsoft E5 Security Suite.
In-depth knowledge of cloud security posture, workload protection, data security, DLP, containers, Kubernetes, SIEM, CASB, data masking, tokenisation, anonymisation, classifications, CIEM, IoT/OT, and security controls deployment.
Proficiency with cloud-native tools such as Microsoft Defender suite, Sentinel, Azure Policy, Azure Advisor, encryption tools, IAM/RBAC/MFA/SSO, SOAR, vulnerability management, logging, PKI, etc.
A strong background in security architecture design and implementation on cloud platforms (Azure, O365, E5 Security; AWS, GCP experience is beneficial).
Duties include:
Serving as the primary security advisor for cloud security to clients.
Gathering security requirements, assessing strategies, and providing guidance.
Supporting cloud security strategy development, onboarding, policy formulation.
Identifying and discussing business and security risks, and developing mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
Legal right to work in Australia.
Relevant security and architecture certifications (Azure, O365, AWS, GCP); CCSP or CISSP preferred.
