**The Opportunity**

The primary function of the DC Team Leader is to support the State DC Supervisor/State DC Manager with the day-to-day activities at their warehouse location. This role coordinates the receipt, storage and distribution of all items to ensure that all customers receive quality orders in a timely and efficient manner.

**Role responsibilities**
- Provide leadership, direction and delegation of tasks to team members as required.
- Coordinate, oversee and assist with unloading inbound shipments safely and move product to staging areas and storage locations.
- Coordinate, oversee and assist with the efficient and safe stack and store parts in the appropriate areas.
- Assist with quality inspection of parts, update systems, package and/or repackage prior to put away.
- Oversee and assist with identifying parts to be delivered, inspect for undocumented damage and report if required.
- Oversee and assist with the pick and preparation of parts for shipment, ensuring that the correct part and correct quantity is picked.

- Intermediate computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), other web-based programs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to take initiative, solve problems and act with a sense of urgency
- Able to work efficiently both in a team environment and independently and to required timeframes
- Able to professionally represent the organization
- LF & LO license preferred
- Basic knowledge of vehicle parts and consumables
