**About the opportunity**
Based at our new service repair centre in Carole Park, QLD the key purpose of this role is to oversee and manage the warehouse administration area ensuring all inbound, outbound and repair replacement activities are completed in a timely manner maximising the efficiencies for the workshop repair hub to best class standards.
Reporting directly to the QLD Milwaukee Service Centre Manager you will be responsible for five direct reports and duties will include:
- Oversee the inbound and booking progress and ensure all administration staff complete tasks in a timely manner to agreed KPI's.
- Oversee outbound activities including freight bookings, packaging and freight consolidation is completed in agreed time frames.
- Oversee the completion of the repair by replacement and battery inspection technicians to ensure all inspections and replacement are completed within agreed timeframes.
- Conduct regular reviews with direct reports and record same for verification purposes
- Attend Product training to keep up to date with current product information
- Develop, train, mentor and coach the team creating a cohesive and supportive, team-based environment.
- Oversee the maintaining of records and allocating incoming spare parts stock on hand to correct locations
- Work with IT administrator to resolve identified portal issues
- Follow up on the payment status for non-warranty claims with customers
- Ensure compliance with all TTI WHS and company procedures
- Attend and contribute to all service department team meetings
- Act as point of contact for service centre's customer inquiries
- Completion of daily, weekly and monthly reports as required
- Monitor and identify trends within the Techtronic Industries service centre to drive efficiency gains
**About You**
To succeed in this role you will have the following attributes and skills:
- Proven experience in a similar team leading role within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills - ability to communicate with all levels of the organisation
- Proactive with an ability to think ahead, be a team player and focused on meeting deadlines
- Must be able to demonstrate initiative and creative problem solving
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing continuous business improvement initiatives
- Experience working within a CRM (SalesForce or similar) & ERP system environment (SAP or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to enhance team performance through leadership, development and empowerment
- Knowledge of LEAN and/or Six Sigma methodologies is an advantage
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Strong analytical skills
