About the role
Permanent part time opportunity to provide an efficient Administration Support service to the Emergency Department clinical staff and patients, with a high level of customer service demonstrating empathy, respect, teamwork and compassion. Respond to enquiries and provide information and assistance to staff, patients and visitors to facilitate effective service delivery within a hospital setting.
About you
- Effectively communicate with patients, visitors and staff and demonstrate empathy, patience and a positive customer focus, including assisting clinical staff in maintaining patient contact and communication with family and visitors both internally and externally.
- Completion of patient chart requirements as designated by District policy frameworks and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm, show empathy, understanding and provide patient centred care as the priority and focus.
