**Key Duties and Accountabilities**:

- Work within a team of policy officers and economists undertaking analysis and providing specialist economic and commercial advice on water regulation, pricing, policy development, infrastructure projects and governance.
- Undertake detailed economic research and analysis, and provide specialist technical and policy advice in relation to:

- Water pricing policies.
- The development and review of proposals in relation to the economic regulation of the water sector; and
- The economic appraisal and/or evaluation of water policies and programmes.
- Develop and use financial and economic models to help inform decision-making.
- Review, interpret and present the results of financial and economic modelling in a manner that is understandable both to experts and non-experts.
- Support the engagement, development, and retention of economic skills within the team.
- Other duties as directed and required.
