Within Western Australia our Mining & Resources Division delivers engineering and construction projects for our key Tier 1 iron ore producing clients, which enables them to sustain and expand their mining operations throughout the Pilbara Region of Western Australia. As a trusted partner to the WA resource sector, Calibre is integrated in our Client's Major Projects which enables up to go above and beyond and succeed together with our clients.

**The Role**:

- Prepare, revise and communicate project control procedures to ensure accurate, consistent and timely reporting of all project activities
- Oversee the accurate and timely delivery of Project Control Services across a major mining upgrades project
- Monitor progress and identify potential problems in respect of budgets, schedules, engineering standards
- Contribute to building and maintaining key strategic partnerships by appearing as the spokesperson on Project Control matters pertaining to the project
- Preparing all required project reports including forecast cost and schedule, progress and variance to plan in respect of costs, time & resources

**Thrive with us We hope you'll bring**:

- 10+ years experience in a Project Controls role, with experience in successfully leading a team
- A background in mining, ideally within an EPCM/ESP environment
- Understanding of cost terminology, budget allocation, WBS, SOW and change management
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- A strong understanding of financial and risk management principles
- Critical thinking and a solution-focused attitude
