**Here's the high-level**
Reporting to Chief Strategy Officer, this newly created role of Head of Strategy is a key leadership role actively contributing to the strategic development of the company.

Working in conjunction with our revered Global Management Team, Business CEO's and Chief Strategy Officer, you will confidently lead development and deliver business strategies and long-term plans across the Aegros group pf companies that support continued growth and improvement of the business's overall performance.
This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic, hands on commercially savvy strategist with experience in manufacturing who is looking to make their mark in a fast evolving environment. This role will suit someone that has vision, ambition and has the grit to pursue the extraordinary in planning, delivery and execution.

**What you will be doing.**
- Partnering with CEOs to develop and formulate business and commercial strategies and business plans that align with company's vision and mission.
- Preparing communications of the strategies and business plans to the Global Management Team and the Board of Directors.
- Monitoring industry trends and analyse data to forecast future business opportunities and risks that could influence Business Growth and Profitability.
- Deliver Competitor Benchmarking, Industry Intelligence and Development of High Priority Strategic Initiatives.
- Reviewing existing strategies as needed based on changing market and business conditions.
- Engaging and supporting the businesses in defining and refining business strategies with specific focus on designing and implementing new strategic approaches, ideas and processes that will grow the business and deliver corporate goals.
- Developing and implement a set of performance metrics and scorecards that will determine the effectiveness of implemented strategies and identify areas of strategic improvement.
- Developing strategies that inform the Marketing, Financial and Sales planning for the business as well as target setting for Annual Business Plans.
- Drafting regular analysis reports for Chief Strategy Officer, Global Management Team and relevant Stakeholders for the purposes of further decision making.

**Requirements**:
**You will bring**
- Degree qualification in Finance or Accounting and post-graduate (master's degree) in Business, Commerce or another related business field.
- 10+ years' experience in strategy consulting, preferably working as a senior strategy manager in a fast paced and dynamic business environment, including in-house experience derived within a Corporate Strategy, FP&A and/or M&A team.
- Extensive experience in strategic planning and analysis, market research, competitive intelligence, and corporate business development within manufacturing industry and proven ability to generate new outlooks of the business on the market, through trend forecasting and innovation.
- Experience in preparation for IPO and understanding of ASX rules will be highly regarded.
- Strong business acumen and solid financial grounding as well as proven and successful track record of developing and driving growth initiatives and identifying business opportunities to develop strategies that capitalise on those opportunities.
- Ability to collaborate across the organisation with top leadership and key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and deliver results in an evolving environment. Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills, with the ability to distil complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Excellent financial and business modelling skills (including demonstrated proficiency in Excel) presentation skills (including proficiency in PowerPoint) and project management expertise.
