Expected salary: $30 - $38 per hour
Snug in Coorparoo / Camp Hill is a small Korean inspired cafe and wine bar. We are seeking a part-time Section Waitperson to join our small, hard working team. We have approximately 20 hours weekly available with up to 38 hours available for someone who proves to be an undeniable asset to our team. Snug operates a little differently, with no devide between front of house and back of house. Our team works together towards a common goal of offering a unique experience and a high quality product. We are creative and don't allow our limitations to impact the ambitions we have to deliver a small, consice and ever-changing menu, with service to match. Your main responsibility will be to work the dining room during our evening service on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, providing service that balances the line of being casual yet professional and ensuring we hit all service points. You will be experienced and comfortable with suggestive selling and be passionate about having great product knowledge across food and beverages, including basic wine knowledge and show a deep committment to our industry. A mindset of constant improvement and a willingness to put forward new ideas will be pleasantly welcomed. This position would suit someone who is studying and looking for weekend work, or perhaps someone seeking a secondary income. Your hourly rate is negotiable and will be dependent on experience. On top of your hourly rate and superannuation, you will be offered staff meal and drinks with each shift and the opportunity to grow and develop yourself alongside us and our business.
