Role Description

This is a casual, on-site role for a waiter/waitress located in Canberra. We're on the lookout for experienced and customer-focused waitstaff to join us for lunch and/or dinner service, Tuesday–Saturday, with key shifts on Fridays and Saturdays as we gear up for a busy festive season.

We want someone who is positive, passionate and flexible. You will need to be curious about french food and want to learn how dishes are created in order to share this knowledge with our customers. You will have experience in the sequences of service and know how to run your own section. All our waitstaff are hands-on and assist one another to run the food, serve beverages, polish cutlery, restock, clean and open/close the restaurant.

Job requirements:

  • Responsible Service of Alcohol registration.
  • Good communication and confidence with staff and customers.
  • Knowledge of French language advantageous but not essential.
  • Staff discount on food.
  • Working with a professional and close-knit team.
  • Being part of an award winning restaurant.
Qualifications
  • Customer-focused waitstaff with experience in the sequences of service.
  • Ability to run your own section and contribute to team service.
  • Willingness to learn about French dishes and share knowledge with customers.
