Join our team as aProduction Area Managerreporting to theOperations Manager.
You'll lead a medium-sized production team, focusing on continuous development to support site growth.
Your role includes ensuring safe, high-quality operations aligned with company values, coaching your team to exceed KPIs in employee delivery, operational efficiency, safety, and quality.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and manage daily production and employee issues, ensuring adherence to schedules and implementing necessary countermeasures.
This role requires a strong presence across all shifts and flexibility in scheduling.
Experience working in an FMCG / GMP environment processing salads and ready-made meals.

About The Role
We are looking for aMorning and Afternoon Shift Production Area Managerat our Wacol, Brisbane facility.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll oversee production activities, mentor your team, and help us exceed our targets.
A day in the life
Support operations and optimize efficiency with your team and machinery
Mentor and develop team leaders for daily production management
Maintain a focus on product quality
Identify and implement continuous improvements
Assist with achieving production throughput and case fill targets
Promote a strong safety culture
Manage stock control and WIP targets
Improve workplace planning and scheduling
About You
Experience in FMCG or short shelf-life processing and manufacturing
Experience with continuous improvement (advantageous but not essential)
Proactive, collaborative, and leadership skills
Excellent communication and team-building abilities
Hands-on management approach
