The health informatician plays a crucial role by:

- translating between the healthcare and information technology domains to ensure business and stakeholder alignment
- establishing standards and patterns for system design
- leading and facilitating design discussions at relevant clinical design governance working groups
- drive high level analysis and support while facilitating strategic advice to support clinical projects

The successful applicant will also be part of a broader team of health informaticians, who work across a variety of programs at eHealth NSW to improve the design of digital clinical solutions across the state.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Extensive experience in the design, build and implementation of digital tools in healthcare settings, including significant experience working with an eMR and/or PAS systems- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across a multi-disciplinary team- Systems-thinking problem-solver who understands human-centred design, lean and agile principles- Health Informatics qualifications and certifications are highly desirable
- Experience in health information management is also desirable

**How to apply**- Demonstrated initiative and project management ability to undertake complex tasks concurrently, performed with minimum supervision and with time constraints, with a strong customer service orientation. This includes extensive experience leading and supervising staff in scoping and delivering health informatics services and initiatives.- Extensive experience at translating between clinical, ICT and governance knowledge domains, presenting information concisely for diverse audiences.
