**The opportunity
You will be accountable for executing our leadership development strategy that supports capability uplift of current and future leaders at UniSuper., as well as for ensuring that leadership development programs and initiatives are high quality, fit for purpose, timely and impactful.
As part of this, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Design, deliver and evaluate engaging leadership development programs and initiatives linked to strategic outcomes and core competency framework.
- Create high quality leadership development solutions that leverage contemporary research and sound knowledge of the principles, theory and practice of adult learning and leadership
- Support leaders to create and implement tailored leadership development plans through 1:1 coaching and guidance.
- Co-create and support the delivery of people leader forums to uplift leadership capability, skills and connection.
- Partner with individual leaders to identify and deliver initiatives to develop and sustain high performing teams.
- Work closely with the People Leadership Team and business leaders to advise on possible methods to close development gaps for leaders.
- Enhance leader onboarding experience with a focus on providing further support for new leaders and self-service tools.
- Design and maintain a manager basics program for all leaders
- Maintain relationships with existing, and source future external learning providers.
**About you
You will ideally possess the following experience, capabilities and qualifications:
- Experience in leadership development roles in commercial environments. Prior people leadership experience to fully appreciate the role of a people leader is preferred but not essential.
- Proven capability in facilitation, knowledge of adult learning principles and the ability to analyse, design, deliver and evaluate training.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships and engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and externally.
- Strong organisation and planning skills to effectively manage multiple programs running concurrently.
- Relevant qualifications in adult learning, instructional design, and coaching.
- Passion for superannuation and the positive impact it has on members retirement outcomes.
