Job Description
BESIX Watpac is looking for a Finance & Reconciliation Officer to support our corporate accounting team in daily operations.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing daily bank reconciliations.
Assisting with monthly balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
Managing aged payables and receivables reports and reconciliations.
Supporting customer invoicing processes.
Reviewing corporate credit card and employee expense claims.
Maintaining the fixed asset register and performing monthly reconciliations.
Monitoring subcontractor retentions and reconciliations.
Preparing monthly Business Activity Statements.
Reviewing and authorising payments via the company's banking platform.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a large organization.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
