About The RoleReporting to the People Experience Leader, The Learning & Development Advisor plays a key role in supporting the design, delivery and evaluation of learning, development and capability initiatives across the organisation.
The role partners with people partners, leaders and employees to uplift organisational capability, drive continuous learning, and ensure alignment to strategic workforce priorities.This role is a 12 month maternity leave cover.Key ResponsibilitiesLearning & DevelopmentSupport the development and delivery of learning programs (face-to-face, digital, blended).
Coordinate onboarding, mandatory training, and compliance learning programs.Develop and support capability frameworks and career pathway initiatives aligned to business strategy and initiativesProvide advice and guidance on development opportunitiesCapability & TalentSupport talent management initiatives including succession planning and leadership development.Assist in the design and implementation of performance and capability frameworks.Contribute to cultural and engagement initiatives that enhance organisational capability.Program Coordination & AdministrationManage learning systems (LMS) including enrolments, reporting, and compliance tracking.Coordinate external training providers and monitor program effectiveness.Manage training vendor list and relationshipsPrepare reports and insights on learning outcomes and workforce capability metrics.Continuous ImprovementContribute to the evaluation and continuous improvement of learning and development initiatives.Keep up to date with best practice and emerging trends in learning, capability, and talent development.About YouExperience in coordinating and supporting learning and development initiatives.Strong organisational and project coordination skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels.Experience in design and delivery of custom trainingProficiency with Learning Management Systems and MS Office suiteA hands on approach and a 'can do' enthusiastic attitudeExceptional administration skills including excellent time management and organisational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAttention to detail and accuracy levelsAbility to work autonomously as well as part of a teamBenefits of working with COSFlexible hybrid workplaceAnnual employee incentive schemesGenerous Reward and Recognition programsCommitment to professional development with ongoing training and career development opportunitiesAccess to free Mental Health programsBirthday, Paid Parental Leave and Purchase Leave availableConvenient location with free onsite parkingModern onsite gymEmployee discounts on full product rangeOpportunity to participate in community welfare and charity initiativesNovated Lease / Salary Sacrifice for electric vehicles availableMore about COSWhen you join COS, you'll be working for a growing, socially responsible organisation who provides equal employment opportunities to a talented and diverse team of passionate people, who live and breathe our 6 core values - Passionate, Results Driven, Innovative, Service Excellence, Self-Reflective, and Family.
