Job Opportunity

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about making a difference in the community.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Victorian Aboriginal community and be able to communicate effectively with its members.

The role requires the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholder groups and provide best practice advice on Aboriginal employment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to meet operational demand
  • Providing cultural safe and inclusive recruitment processes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples

Some key qualifications and skills required for this role include:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification desirable but not mandatory
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Victorian Aboriginal community, society and culture
  • Able to communicate sensitively and effectively with members of the Victorian Aboriginal community

This is a prioritised role for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, who will be given priority consideration as per the special measures provision of the Equal Opportunity Act 2010.
