The Planning, Operations and Delivery Group provide the ongoing asset management, operation and maintenance of Seqwater's water infrastructure assets and catchment areas, including the design and delivery of small to large upgrade and renewal projects to ensure the ongoing provision of bulk water supply services to meet customer requirements and regulatory obligations.

**About the Role**

As the Lead Water Supply Assets - you will lead, coordinate, oversee, and undertake front end engineering design (FEED) and planning for improvements and augmentations of water supply assets. Leading a small team of professionals, you will deliver high quality project planning, technical studies and scopes as well as continuing to develop Business Cases for delivery of improvement and renewal projects. You will also ensure and be involved in a thorough and effective management of transition of projects to Project Delivery teams. Your skills and expertise will see you providing sound advice on water supply projects to ensure a prudent and efficient delivery.

This role reports to the Principal Project Planning.

**About You**

As a senior position within the Seqwater team, this role will best suit a leader who is passionate about delivering

positive outcomes and working in a collaborative manner across all stakeholder groups.

To be considered for this role, you will possess:

- Tertiary degree in engineering, and current RPEQ registration.
- Extensive experience in engineering for bulk water supply system design and operations or equivalent
- Extensive experience working with multi-disciplinary teams
- Extensive experience in any studies necessary for project scope development in FEED.
- Operational experience in water or related industry is highly desirable
- Proven high level ability to deliver engineering services, and effectively manage planning projects, including utilising external professionals, contractors, consultants, and partnership arrangements.
- Demonstrated experience in planning and assessment of complex water treatment plants and developing high quality planning reports and Business Cases.
- Demonstrated and applied knowledge of relevant legislation and regulation.
- Demonstrated experience in project budget development and management.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively both written and orally with people of various disciplines and at various levels within, and external to the organisation, with the ability to negotiate, coordinate, consult and influence.
