We have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our Leadership Team and showcase their well-established production skills in this exciting and challenging role.

**About the role**:
Reporting directly to the Production Manager, this position is responsible for:

- Organise the sequence in which orders will be produced
- Management of team including recruitment; orienting, performance management and training of all employees
- Organise the setup and start-up of all packing machinery
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels are available to meet the weekly packing tasks
- Ensure all orders are completed within the required timeframe
- Participate in regular leadership development training
- Quality and continues improvement procedures

**About you**:

- Demonstrated previous production packing experience or transferable skills
- Demonstrate previous team management
- Training and coaching experience
- Enjoys a challenging environment and can adapt to production changes
- Sound planning and organising skills
- Loves leading, engaging and developing their team

This role is working in a refrigerated environment at 15 Degrees. Working hours fluctuate with the season -summer being our peak and winter our low season.

**About the department**

- This full time role is Monday - Friday with a start time of 6am
- Our packing facility has over 140 staff during our peak season
- In our peak season we pack 350 ton a week of large truss tomatoes, plus our other produce
- We work with the latest technological advances and have a strong thirst for innovation
